Adan Melendez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adan Melendez, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend. Adan was born on March 8, 1991, in Dallas, Texas, and passed away on January 25, 2025, in Royse City, Texas, at the age of 33.

Adan was a beacon of light and joy, known for his kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, compassion, and laughter.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lety, and their beautiful daughters, Emily and Lily. Adan’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his parents, Manuel Angel and Romelia, and his siblings, Jesus Gabriel, Julio, Alejandro, Teodolo, and Cecilia Guadalupe. His family, along with all who knew him, will deeply miss his infectious laughter and generous spirit.

Family, friends, and all those whose lives Adan touched are invited to join us for a funeral mass on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Garland, Texas, to celebrate his life. Following the mass, a viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, Texas. Interment will follow immediately at Rose City Cemetery in Royse City, Texas. These services will provide an opportunity to remember and honor Adan’s life and the positive impact he had on those around him.

Adan’s final resting place will be at Royse City Cemetery in Royse City, Texas.

Arrangements for the services have been lovingly made by Pilar Funeral Home, ensuring that Adan’s farewell is filled with the dignity and warmth he so richly deserves.

Although Adan Melendez has departed from this world, his spirit and the memories he leaves behind will forever enrich the lives of those who loved him.
