Alejandra Choncen De Saavedra

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alejandra Choncen De Saavedra, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Alejandra was born on Friday, March 16th, 1928 in Ancash Peru, and peacefully departed this world on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, at the age of 96, in her home in Arlington, Texas.

Alejandra was a pillar of strength and love for her family and community. Her life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and unwavering faith. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family and instilling values of kindness and perseverance in her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons Pedro, Hugo, and Roberto, and her daughters Noelia, Angelica, and Miriam. Alejandra was a proud grandmother to 16 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 23 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and warmth will continue to live on through them.

Alejandra was preceded in death by her son Nicolas and daughter Esther, whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Alejandra's life at a viewing and visitation on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Nueva Vida Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas. A funeral service will also be held at the same location on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at 6:00 pm.

Her final resting place will Cementerio de Samanco in Samanco, Peru.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Pilar Funeral Home, who have provided compassionate care and support during this difficult time.

Alejandra's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their condolences and support. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
