On October 8, 2024, Alexis passed away in El Paso, Texas, leaving behind a legacy that will echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
A respected member of the United States Army, Alexis served as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic with the distinguished 1st Armored Division. His dedication and skill were evident in every task he undertook, his hands and wheels ensuring that his comrades had the reliability of well-maintained machinery as they upheld the values and mission of their service. His commitment to his country and his fellow service members reflected a deep sense of duty and honor.
Alexis’s life was enriched by the love and support of his family, and he found great pride and joy in these cherished relationships. He is survived by his loving mother, Micaela, who was his most fervent supporter and his constant source of inspiration, and his brother, Gustavo, with whom he shared countless adventures and an unbreakable bond.
Arrangements to honor and celebrate the life of Alexis Montalvo are being handled by Pilar Funeral Home. Family, friends, and fellow service members are invited to gather in mourning and remembrance, sharing stories and memories of the remarkable life Alexis led.
