**Obituary for Amanda Galvan Silva**

**February 6, 1960 – September 25, 2024**

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Amanda Galvan Silva, who departed this life on September 25th, 2024, at the age of 64. Amanda was a cherished resident of Brewton, Texas, but her journey began on February 6th, 1960, in the warm embrace of Ciudad Fernandez, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

A loving and devoted mother, Amanda is survived by her beloved mother, Magdalena; her sons, Jose and Gustavo; her daughter, Juana Maria; and her brothers, Nicolas, Jose Luis, and Angel. She also leaves behind her sisters, Josefina, Maria Elena, Maria de la Paz, Luisa, and Edith, along with seven adoring grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

Amanda was known for her kindness, her unwavering dedication to family, and her infectious smile that could light up any room. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will forever be treasured by her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a viewing/visitation to be held at the Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX, on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Additionally, a rosary service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, at 6:00 pm, providing an opportunity for loved ones to gather in prayer and reflection.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pilar Funeral Home, who have provided compassionate care and support during this difficult time.

Amanda's presence will be deeply missed, yet her spirit endures in the love and memories she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.
