Amelia Rubio De Bocanegra

With deep respect, Pilar Funeral Home announces the passing of Amelia Rubio de Bocanegra, who was born on August 4, 1935, in Chihuahua, Mexico, and entered into rest on December 11, 2025, in Garland, Texas.

Mrs. Amelia was a woman of strength, love, and dedication. She began her spiritual journey 53 years ago, with her baptism in 1972. During all those years, she shared beautiful memories with everyone who was fortunate to know her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and in every memory she left behind.

She is survived by her children Guillermo, Juan Manuel, Felipe Alberto, and Jorge Luis; her daughters Lilia, Alma Susana, María de los Ángeles, and Amelia; her 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; as well as her brothers José Luis and Felipe Antonio, and her sisters Carmen, Dolores, and Rosa María.
