With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Ana María Ortiz, who departed this world on September 11, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 59. Ana María was born on January 24, 1966, in Monterrey, Mexico, and throughout her life she was a source of love, strength, and kindness to all who knew her.

She is lovingly survived by her father, Juan; her children, Diego, Erik, Wendy, and Norma; her brothers, Daniel Omar, Salvador, and Javier; her sisters, Patricia and María de la Luz; as well as her eight cherished grandchildren. She will also be deeply missed by her dear friend Christina. The memory of Ana María will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will always treasure the joy and warmth she brought into their lives.

Ana María will be remembered for her devotion to family, her generous spirit, and her gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion will continue to guide those she leaves behind.
