Anita Velazquez Velazquez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anita Velazquez Velazquez, who left this world peacefully on April 26, 2025, in Garland, Texas, at the age of 89.

Anita was born on March 17, 1936, in Huiramba, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico. She lived a life full of love, faith, and dedication to her family. Anita's legacy is carried on by her beloved sons, Roberto and Ismael, and her cherished daughters, Marta, Esmeralda, and Maria Paz. She was a proud grandmother to 21 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 29 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Maria Angelina, whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Anita’s final resting place will be the Panteón Municipal de Huiramba in Michoacán, Mexico, a return to the land of her birth and her heart.
