It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Basilia Ramirez Hernandez, who departed this life on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on Thursday, June 14th, 1962, in Torreón, Coahuila, México, Basilia lived a life full of love, dedication, and warmth.
Basilia was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She is survived by her devoted mother, Guadalupe, and her loving husband, Candelario. She leaves behind her cherished children, daughters Mayra and Liliana, and son Javier, who will continue to honor her legacy. Basilia was a proud grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
She is also survived by her brothers Gabriel, José Luis, Francisco Javier, and Roberto, and her sister Blanca, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Basilia was preceded in death by her father, Javier, and her brother, Jose Abraham, who have welcomed her into eternal rest.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX, on Friday, January 24th, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 pm on the same day.
A funeral service to celebrate Basilia's life will take place at Pilar Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, at 10:00 am. Following the service, Basilia will be laid to rest at Royse City Cemetery in Royse City, TX.
Basilia's kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared in life.
