Carlos Barrios Castillo

Carlos Barrios Castillo, a beloved member of the Garland, TX community, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on Thursday, June 10th, 1954, in Cañada Grande, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Carlos is survived by a large and loving family. He leaves behind his cherished mother, Flora, his devoted son, Javier, and his beloved daughter, Blanca Elizabeth. Carlos was also the brother of Arturo, Ventura, Jose, Hilario, Maximiano, Amado, Imelda, Nicolasa, Rosa, and Martha. His family and friends will deeply miss his presence, wisdom, and kindness.

A viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX. The funeral service, officiated by Juan Torres, will follow at the same location, beginning at 12:00 pm.

Family and friends are also invited to attend the interment immediately following the service at Royse City Cemetery in Royse City, TX, which will serve as Carlos’s final resting place.

Carlos’s life journey took him from his birthplace in Mexico to becoming a treasured member of his Texas community. He will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, love for his family, and unwavering strength. His legacy will continue to live on through the memories shared by those who knew and loved him.
