Cristino Hernandez Alvarado

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cristino Hernandez Alvarado, who departed this life peacefully on May 14, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 87.

Cristino was born on July 24, 1937, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, where he grew up surrounded by family and the values of faith, humility, and perseverance.

Cristino is survived by his loving wife, Ma. Petra, and their children: Mario, Alberto, Bernardo, Apoloneo, Ma. Lucila, Demetria, and Maria del Pilar. He also leaves behind his brother Francisco, and sisters Zenaida, Ciria, and Leucadia.

He was the proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and the great-grandfather of 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and carried forward his legacy of love, respect, and resilience.

Cristino will be laid to rest at Cementerio de San Juan Bautista in Cedral, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, a place close to his roots and forever a part of his story.
