It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Ann Maceda, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who departed this life on January 22, 2026, at the age of 68. Born in the beautiful city of Corpus Christi, Texas, on March 2, 1957, Cynthia brought light and joy into the world from the moment she arrived.
Cynthia leaves behind a legacy defined by love and warmth. She is survived by her loving husband, Juan; her son, Abel III; her daughters, Christy, Marina, and Cynthia; and her siblings, brothers Felix and Ricky, and sisters Norma, Bertha, and Corina. Cynthia's spirit lives on in her extensive family, including 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
She is now reunited with her beloved parents, Felix and Eva, as well as her sister Sandra, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories
Raised with a spirited sense of adventure and creativity, Cynthia found delight in the simple pleasures of life. Her interests were as diverse as they were vibrant—she had a passion for cleaning, found her groove in Zumba and dancing, cherished angels, and was fond of soft hues of light blue.
Cynthia was a beacon of love, humility, and positivity, attributes made especially evident in her selfless service to others. She touched many lives and left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. The family extends gratitude to all who supported and loved Cynthia throughout her life.
Though she may no longer be with us in body, Cynthia Ann Maceda's spirit will forever illuminate the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Her final resting place will be Garland Memorial Park in Garland, Texas.
