Efosa Blessing Minabowan Obasuyi

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Efosa Blessing Minabowan Obasuyi, who departed this life on February 16th, 2025 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 58. Efosa was born on March 21st, 1966 in Benin City, Oredo, Nigeria, and dedicated her life to supporting others as a compassionate and devoted social worker.

Efosa is lovingly remembered by her sons, David and Ezekiel, who were her pride and joy. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Theresa, and cherished friends and colleagues who will miss her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness.

Efosa completed her Bachelor's degree, an achievement that set the foundation for her career in social work, where she passionately helped and inspired many throughout her community. Efosa had bachelors in English language from University of Benin, Edo state, Nigeria while the bachelors in social work is from Temple university, PA

A viewing and visitation will be held at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, Texas, on Friday, March 7th, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service to celebrate Efosa's life will follow at 11:00 am, also at Pilar Funeral Home.

Following the services, Efosa will be laid to rest at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Sunnyvale, Texas, at approximately 12:00 pm.

Efosa will be remembered for her strong faith in God, her loving nature, generosity, and tireless dedication to her family and the people she served. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
