Efrain Popoca Hernandez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Efrain Popoca Hernandez, who left us on Friday, November 28th, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on Wednesday, July 6th, 1983, in Zacualpan, Estado de Mexico.

Efrain was a cherished son of Baltazar and Epifania, a beloved father to his daughters Jasmine Nancy and Julissa Zuleyka, and a dear brother to Jaime, Geronimo, Angelina and Leticia.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a time of remembrance and reflection at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX. A viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at 6:00 pm on the same day to celebrate Efrain’s life and legacy.

Efrain's final resting place will be in the serenity of Cementerio General De Huitzoltepec in his birthplace of Zacualpan, Mexico. There, he will be laid to rest, surrounded by the enduring beauty and peacefulness of his homeland.

Though his time with us was far too short, Efrain's memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. His laughter, his kindness, and his unwavering spirit will be cherished forever.

May Efrain rest in eternal peace, and may his family find comfort in the loving memories they shared.
