Elizabeth Bolivar Landin was born on July 2, 1970, in El Paso, Texas. Liz was a talented stylist for over 30 years at her family's Bolivar Salon. She had a very successful career, highly gifted in her artistry, studying in London and traveling to hair shows across the country. Her clients adored her, as she had a smile that truly lit up every room. Liz was always the life of the party- funny and happy- and she made friends everywhere that she went. Liz loved to travel, and she appreciated good food (from fine dining to great street tacos, and everything in between!) Liz loved the water; she was a great swimmer, always socializing at the beach or the family pool. Her children’s education was so important to her, and she was so very proud of Carmen and Gael for all they accomplished. She had an inherent love for music and dancing. She dearly loved her dog Chad. Liz was undoubtedly colorful, a powerful force, and the rock of her family. She entered into rest peacefully at home on April 9, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.
Liz is survived by her husband and best friend Leo, two children, Carmen (18) and Gael (14), her older brother Jack Bolivar (children Isaac Gabriel (27), Zoe Jaqueline (21), and Logan Dominic (13)), and her twin brother Alfonso Bolivar (his daughters Lilliana (19) and Clara aka “Noodle” (15)). Liz also leaves behind her mother Rosalia Bolivar and was preceded in death by her father Jack Bolivar. Liz and Leo would have celebrated 20 years of marriage on April 27th.
