Emiliano Merino Palacios

Emiliano Merino, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, in McKinney, Texas. Born on Monday, July 20th, 1942, in Guanajuato, México.

Emiliano is survived by his devoted wife, Francisca, and their children: sons Antonio, Jesus, Santiago, Manuel, José Guadalupe, Jacob, and Jesse; and daughters Laura, Maria de la Luz, Carmela, and Araceli. He is also survived by his brothers Cirilo, Feliz, and Eleuterio, and his sister Guadalupe. Emiliano's legacy continues through his 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son Salvador.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael the Archangel in McKinney, Texas, on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Following the mass, Emiliano will be laid to rest at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing and visitation at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, Texas, on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am at the same location.

Emiliano's life was a testament to his strong faith and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

May Emiliano rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who have gone before him.
