Filiberto is survived by his wife Dulce; sons Felix, Filiberto Jr.; daughter Dulce Maria; brothers Fernando, Fredy, Francisco, Fidencio, Federico; grandchildren Valentina, Delayza, Damian, Daniel, and Jayden; preceded in death by his son Jose Alberto.

His place of rest will be Panteon J.A. Gonzalez in Cadareyta Jimenez, N.L. Mexico.
