Frank Bollig, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on January 25th, 1960, in Clinton, Oklahoma, Frank lived a life rich in passion, humor, and kindness. He was 65 years old at the time of his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Juanita Bollig, and sister Theresa Volkman Basden.
A celebration of Frank's life will be held during a memorial service on March 15th, 2025, from 1pm to 3pm at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, Texas. Family and friends will gather to reminisce and honor Frank's extraordinary life.
Frank is survived by two brothers: Gary Bollig, and wife Denise, of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Andy Bollig of Duncan, Oklahoma. Additionally, he is survived by two sisters: Paula Reagan, and husband Tommy, of Garland, Texas, and Lori Mitchell, and husband Tim, of Wichita Falls, Texas. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews who hold dear memories of their Uncle Frank.
Frank grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma. After college, he moved to Texas where he eventually made the DFW metroplex area his forever home. He worked for Taylor Communications for many years and was thankful for his work family.
Anyone that knew Frank also knew how much he loved music. From a very early age, he would share his love of music - from both new and upcoming artists to seasoned artists, with family and friends. He also enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams — the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys.
As we bid farewell to Frank, we remember a life well-lived, full of joy, music, and love for his family and friends. His legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the memories he created with those who knew and loved him.
