Gabriel Retana Alvizo

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Geivo Retana Alvizo, who departed this life on June 29, 2025, in Rockwall, Texas. at the age of 47.

Geivo was born on May 2, 1978, in El Tepetate, Cerritos, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and the deep love he held for his family. His presence brought warmth and joy to those around him, and his memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him.

He is lovingly survived by his devoted parents, José Retana and Herlinda Alvizo; his brothers José, Juan, Sabino, and Ángel; his sisters Alma and Brenda; and his ten beloved nephews, who brought him endless pride and happiness.

Though he has left this earthly life, Geivo's spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the memories they shared together.

Geivo will be laid to rest at Royse City Cemetery.

May he rest in eternal peace.
