Gilbert Ortiz Jr.

Gilbert Ortiz Jr. was born May 11, 1960 in Laredo, Texas. He entered into rest July 18, 2021 in Dallas, Texas.

Gilbert is survived by his daughter Graciela, grandchildren Nehemiah and Malyiah. Also by his stepdaughter Nicole.

Gilbert is also survived by his sisters Lupe, Edith, Carmen, and Leticia; brothers Arthur and Ernest. Also by several nieces and nephews and a host of longtime friends.

To greet Gilbert in Haven are his son Gilbert Anthony III, his Parents Gilberto L. Ortiz Sr. & Petra Mejia Ortiz and his Sister Sandra Walker.
Gilbert Attended North Dallas High School.  He played in the football team in Jr High.  Gilbert was a lifelong mechanic/Certified Brake Specialist.  He was the life of the party and loved to tell stories and make people laugh.

He was an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks.  He was also a music enthusiast, a big fan of Tejano and Rock and Roll music.
He loved his children and family very much.
