Gilberto Elorza Cruz

With deep sadness, Pilar Funeral Home joins the family in announcing the passing of Gilberto, who was born on May 8, 1969, in Cedral, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and entered eternal rest on August 25, 2025, in Carrollton, Texas.

He is lovingly survived by his wife Francisca, his son Leonardo, his daughters Johana and Veronica, his grandson, his sons-in-law Anthony and Guadalupe, his brothers Jorge, Francisco, Guillermo, and Guadalupe, as well as his sisters María de Jesús, Rocio, and Zonya.

His final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and bid their farewells.

We join in prayer for the eternal rest of his soul and for strength and comfort for his entire family during this time of sorrow.
