Gilma Esperanza Martinez Granillo

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gilma Esperanza Martinez, who was born on June 3, 1959, in Usulután, El Salvador, and passed away on February 10, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Gilma was the beloved daughter of the late Raúl and Rosa Martinez. She was a loving partner, devoted mother, cherished sister, and proud grandmother. Her kindness, strength, and caring spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her partner, Eden; her son, Edwin; her brother, Jorge Alberto; her sisters, María and María del Tránsito; and her three treasured grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raúl and Rosa; her beloved daughter, Yesenia; and her grandson, Marvin.

Gilma will be laid to rest at Cementerio Municipal de Jiquilisto in Jiquilisto, Usulután, El Salvador, where she will rest in peace in her homeland.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the love and joy she shared.
