It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Javier Enrique Sanchez, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who touched countless lives with his warmth and kindness. Javier passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, in Plano, Texas, at the age of 66.

Born in the vibrant city of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, Javier's journey led him to Texas, where he built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family. In the mid-1980s, he settled in Plano, creating a home that became a sanctuary of joy and connection for all who entered.

Javier's greatest treasure was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Amanda, his steadfast partner through life's every chapter. Together, they raised their beloved daughter, Amanda, who embodies the kindness and strength her father exemplified. As a grandfather, Javier found immeasurable joy in Michael (Mikey) and Aaron, whose laughter brightened his days and whose futures he watched with pride. He was also a caring uncle to Jorge, Dariela, and David, always ready with encouragement and love.

For over 25 years, Javier dedicated himself to the City of Plano, working in the sign shop department. His colleagues remember him not only for his craftsmanship but for his infectious smile and playful humor that made every workday brighter. Outside of work, Javier's passion for music—especially the Beatles and classic rock from the '70s and '80s—filled his home with melody and memories.

Javier's life was a testament to love, resilience, and commitment. His generous spirit, quick wit, and genuine care for others created a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.

A family mass will be held to celebrate Javier's remarkable life and honor his memory.

Though Javier is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the countless memories that will be treasured forever.
