Jay Medrano

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jay Medrano, who left this world on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, at the age of 19. Jay was born on Monday, May 30th, 2005, in Dallas, Texas, where he spent his entire life surrounded by family and friends who cherished him deeply.

Jay was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend. He is survived by his devoted mother, Blanca, who was his guiding light and constant support. He leaves behind his loving girlfriend, Jocelyn, who brought immense joy and happiness into his life. Jay was a cherished brother to Christopher, Jennifer, and Sarai, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Maria Virginia and Manuel Antonio, who were a source of wisdom and love throughout his life, and his paternal grandmother, Hilda, who adored him dearly.

Jay was preceded in death by his father, Carlos, whose memory he held dear and whose legacy he carried forward with pride.

Jay's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and a spirit that touched everyone he met. Jay will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Jay’s final resting place will be at Royse City Cemetery in Royse City, Texas, where he will be laid to rest surrounded by love and the memories of those who cherished him.
