Jose Nery Almendares Rodas

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Jose Nery Almendares Rodas, who entered into eternal rest on May 27, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, just one day after celebrating his 62nd birthday.

Jose was born on May 26, 1963, in Honduras, and though his life took him far from his birthplace, his heart always remained close to his roots. A devoted father, loving grandfather, and faithful brother, Jose was a man of quiet strength, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family.

He is survived by his sons: Donoval, Melvin, Jefferson, and Geoffrey; his daughters: Liz, Genesis, and Berbely; his brothers: Arturo and Roberto; and his sister: Marta. He also leaves behind ten beloved grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride into his life.

In accordance with his wishes, Jose’s final resting place will be in his beloved hometown of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where he will be laid to rest among family and the land that shaped him.

He will be profoundly missed, but forever remembered with love, honor, and gratitude by all who knew him.
