Jose Castaneda Delgado

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jose Castaneda Delgado, who peacefully departed this world on September 16, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in the vibrant landscape of Jalisco, Mexico, Jose was a man of deep faith, enduring love, and immense strength.

Jose was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his sons, Jose Juan, Rodolfo, Juan Pablo, Adan, Gustavo, and Jairo, as well as his daughters, Sara, Ma. Del Carmen, and Rosalba. He is also survived by his brother, Telesforo, 28 adoring grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, all of whom loved him dearly and will continue to carry his legacy in their hearts.

A devoted family man and devout follower of his faith, Jose's life was a testament to perseverance, kindness, and service to others. He impacted many lives with his wisdom, laughter, and compassion, leaving a profound imprint on everyone who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the Viewing/Visitation at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX, on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Garland, TX, on the same day at 2:00 pm. A Rosary will follow at Pilar Funeral Home at 6:00 pm.

Jose's final resting place will be in the tranquil town of his birth, at Panteon Municipal Ledesma in Jalisco, Mexico, where he will join his ancestors in eternal peace.

Jose's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out, shared their condolences, and offered their support. He will be forever cherished, remembered, and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
