Jose is survived by his father Esteban; son Dilmer Ariel ; brothers Martin, Victor, Wilfredo, Carlos, Samuel, Cristian, and Mario Ruben; sisters; Maria Teresa and Karen.

Jose's final resting place will be Cementerio Municipal, Honduras.
