Jose Enrique Mendoza Morales

With great sadness, we announce the passing of José Enrique Mendoza Morales, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 86. A beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, his legacy is one of dedication, love, and talent.

Born on April 12, 1939, José lived a life marked by hard work and devotion to his family and his craft. As a master bricklayer, he built not only structures but also solid foundations for his family, instilling in them the values ​​of perseverance and integrity.

He is survived by his sons: José Enrique, Miguel Gerardo, René, Jaime, and Víctor Eduardo; his daughters: Sandra, Sonia, Ana María, Verónica, and Erika Brenda; and his siblings: Simón and Tomás. He was a proud grandfather to 20 grandchildren and a beloved great-grandfather to 11 great-grandchildren. His family was his pride and joy, and their memory will live on in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eduarda, and his beautiful daughter, Eufemia.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation and wake on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, Texas. Following the wake, a committal service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Garland Memorial Park, where José will be laid to rest.

José's final resting place will be Garland Memorial Park in Garland, Texas. His legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
