Jose Luis Mondragon Daza

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Luis Mondragon Daza, who departed this world on Wednesday, February 4th, 2025, in Plano, Texas. Born on Thursday, June 11th, 1964, in Ajuchitlan, Guerrero, México, Jose Luis lived a life full of love, dedication, and resilience.

Jose Luis was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He is survived by his devoted wife, Humbelina, and his cherished daughter, Areli. He also leaves behind his loving brother, Martin, and sister, Citlali. His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Jayleen, Irwin Jr., and Aleena, who brought immense joy to his life.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing and visitation at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX, on Friday, February 14th, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will also be held at Pilar Funeral Home on the same day at 5:00 pm, where we will gather to celebrate his life and bid farewell to a remarkable man.

Following the services, Jose Luis will be laid to rest in his final resting place in Tlapehuala, Guerrero, México, where he will be surrounded by the land and people he loved dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pilar Funeral Home, who have provided compassionate care and support during this difficult time.

Jose Luis Mondragon Daza will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
