Jose is survived by his wife Maria Eva, sons Omar, Eleazar, Jose Hugo Cesar and Arturo Alberto, daughter Sonia, brothers Abel, Bruno, Domingo, Benito, Marciano and Faustino and sisters Antonia and Graciela.

His final resting place will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, Texas.
