Josefina Del Rosario Ruiz

Josefina Del Rosario Ruiz, born on March 19, 1935, in Manila, Philippines, peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 29, 2025, in Howe, Texas, at the age of 90.

Josefina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, **Felix Ruiz**, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and dedication.

Josefina is survived by her son Jose P. "Joey" Ruiz, his spouse Maria C. Ruiz née de Jesus, with their children: Matthew J. Ruiz (spouse Alison Fanizzi); Maria Carisa Ruiz-Bryant (spouse Samuel Bryant); and Joseph J. Ruiz.

Josefina is also survived by her daughter Cristina "Tina" Ross, her spouse Michael Ross, their children: Melissa A. Ross-McLemore (spouse Peter McLemore) and their daughter Araiya McLemore; Steven Ross; and Kristen M. Ross.

Josefina is also survived by her son John Paul Ruiz, spouse Rochelle Ruiz née St. John, their children: Brianna M. Ruiz-Monroe (spouse Elijah Monroe) and their daughter Stella Monroe; Matteya J. Ruiz (spouse Oscar Simonis) and their son Rulan Simonis.

Josefina was preceded in death by her husband, Felix “Phil” Ruiz, by her father Pablo T. del Rosario and her mother Marcela Punongbayan del Rosario.
