Juana Gandara

Juana Gandara Ortiz was born on November 24, 1948, in Durango, Mexico, and peacefully passed away on January 15, 2026, in Garland, Texas.

Juana was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister whose strength, warmth, and devotion to her family defined her life. She will be remembered for her caring heart, resilience, and the love she generously shared with everyone around her.

She is survived by her beloved son, Carlos; her daughters, Silvia, Anabel, and Alma; her sister, Manuela; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory and legacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Norma.

Juana’s love and presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
