It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Luis Joel Avila, who left this world on December 2, 2025, at the age of 35. Born on February 21, 1990, Luis was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

Luis was a devoted family man, cherished by his wife, Phyanee, and their two beautiful daughters, Karla and Maya. He was a loving son to his father, Luis Joel, and a caring brother to his sister, Gabriela. His family was the center of his world, and he took immense pride in their happiness and well-being.

Luis's life was a testament to love, dedication, and resilience. He was known for his infectious smile, generous spirit, and unwavering support for those around him. His passion for life and his ability to bring joy to others will be deeply missed.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a viewing and visitation on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the same location, where we will celebrate Luis's life and the indelible mark he left on our hearts.

In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the memories we shared with Luis and the legacy of love he leaves behind. He will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
