She is survived by her mother and father, Jose Eduardo Cena and Jessica Leigh Cena; brother, Jose Eduardo Cena, Jr.; sister, Arabella Ruby Cena; paternal grandparents, Jose and Yolanda Cena; and maternal grandparents, Jeff and Denise Maxson.

Makenzie's final resting place will be at Garland Memorial Park, Garland, Texas.
