Manuel Agustin Candelaria

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Manuel Candelaria, beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Manuel was born on Friday, May 28, 1948, in Juarez, Chihuahua, México, and passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 in Rockwall, Texas.

A devoted family man, Manuel is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda; his sons, Manuel, Alejandro, and David; his daughter, Cynthia Anne; and his five sisters, Estella, Josefina, Bertha, Celia, and Delfina. He also leaves behind a legacy through his 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, all who brought him immense joy and pride. Manuel was preceded in death by his cherished great-grandson, Anthony Manuel.

Friends and family are invited to honor Manuel's life during a viewing and visitation on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in his memory on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Rockwall, Texas.

Arrangements are being provided by Pilar Funeral Home. Manuel's warm spirit and loving nature touched the lives of many. He will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.
