Manuel Cortes Castillo

Manuel Cortes Castillo, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather, peacefully departed this life on Friday, November 29th, 2024, at the age of 64 in Dallas, Texas. Born on Tuesday, August 9th, 1960 in Rancho La Huerta, Guanajuato Mexico, Manuel was a cherished resident of Mesquite, TX, where he spent his days surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Manuel is survived by his devoted mother, Bacilisa, his loving wife, Ma. Teresa, and his children who were his pride and joy: son Victor Manuel, daughters Mariela and Rebecca, and brothers Juan, Jesus, Martin, and Mario. His legacy continues through his cherished seven grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also fondly remembered by his sisters, Guadalupe, Irma, Manuela, and Oliva.

He was predeceased by his beloved brothers, Jose and Jose Juan, whose memories he held close to his heart.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Manuel's life at a Funeral Service on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 6 pm at Pilar Funeral Home. Prior to the service, a Viewing and Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm at the same location, allowing those who loved him to gather, share memories, and offer their respects.

Arrangements have been thoughtfully provided by Pilar Funeral Home, ensuring that Manuel's life is honored with the dignity and respect he deserves.

Manuel's final resting place will be Panteon Municipal in San Felipe, Guanajuato Mexico.
