Marcelina Martinez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcelina Martinez, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Marcelina was born on Sunday, June 25, 1978, and peacefully left us on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Her life journey, was filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family and community.

Marcelina is lovingly survived by her parents, Juan and Leonor, her devoted husband, Juan, and their cherished children, Isaac, Angel, and Keila. She is also deeply missed by her brothers, Emigdio and Oscar, and sisters, Yolanda, Olivia, Cruz, and Aleida. Marcelina touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will forever be held in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to honor her life and legacy at a series of services to be held at Iglesia Principe De Paz in Garland, Texas. A viewing and visitation will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, during which a prayer service will be conducted at 8:00 pm. A funeral service will follow on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:00 am, with interment immediately after at Garland Memorial Park.

Arrangements have been thoughtfully provided by Pilar Funeral Home. Marcelina’s family extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. She will be remembered as a pillar of strength, an exemplary woman of faith, and an endless source of joy to those she loved.
