Maria De La Paz Chavez

With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of María de la Paz Chávez, who departed this life on September 29, 2025, in Forney, Texas, at the age of 88.

María was born on December 5, 1936, in Santa Elena, Usulután, El Salvador. She lived a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is lovingly survived by her daughters Lilian Aminta, Candi Emely, and Sidia Estela; her brother Francisco; her sisters Anita and Margot; as well as her eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her later years.

María is preceded in death by her beloved son Joel, and her brothers Manuel and Oscar, with whom she is now reunited in eternal peace.

Her memory will be cherished always, and her presence will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who were blessed to share in her life.

Her final resting place will be Parque Memorial La Resurrección in San Salvador, El Salvador.
