Maria is survived by her sons Luis, and Pedro; daughters Francisca, Guadalupe, and Martina; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son Alberto.

Her place of rest will be Panteón Municipal Francisco I. Madero in Durango, Mexico.
