Maria Del Carmen Diaz

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Maria Del Carmen Diaz, who left us on October 6th, 2025, at the age of 81. Maria was born on July 16th, 1944, and her life was a testament to dedication, love, and resilience.

A beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Maria was surrounded by the love of her family throughout her life. She is survived by her sons, Jose Salomon and Mario Rolando, and her daughters, Glenda Yamileth and Carmen Victoria. Maria's legacy of kindness and warmth is also carried on by her brothers, Daniel, Cristobal, and Juan Carlos, and sisters, Mercedes, Ana, Lourdes, Candina, Mary, and Reina.

Maria's deep love extended to her 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished dearly. Though the family is heartbroken by her departure, they find comfort in the memories she leaves them with and the strong family ties she nurtured.

Maria is preceded in death by her sons, Arnoldo Heriberto and Uvaldo Enrique, who remain lovingly remembered as part of her legacy.

A viewing and visitation will be held at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX, on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025. Family and friends are invited to gather from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm to celebrate Maria's life and share fond memories.

Following her services in Texas, Maria will find her final resting place in Cementerio De La Comunidad De Potrero Grande, Honduras, a place dear to her heart.

Maria Del Carmen Diaz will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her spirit continues to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
