Maria E Donato

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria E. Donato, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left this world peacefully on April 1, 2026, just shy of her 79th birthday.

Maria was born on April 28, 1947, in El Salto, Jalisco, Mexico, and spent her final years in Garland, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Jose; her son, Juan; and her daughter, Maria Elena.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Manuel, Jose, Jorge, Ana, Martha, Chely, and Guadalupe; her siblings, Jesus, Ramona and Eva; as well as 31 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who carry forward her legacy of love.

A woman of deep faith, Maria found comfort in praying the rosary and cherished her strong connection to her hometown of Jalisco, which she visited often. Her vibrant spirit reflected her love for the color red and the warmth she shared with all who knew her.

Maria will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Jose, at Garland Memorial Park in Garland, Texas. Her family finds peace in knowing they are reunited once more.

She will be deeply missed, but her love and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
