It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Isabel Duarte, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Maria passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, at the age of 83 in Frisco, Texas.

Born on Sunday, February 15th, 1942, in Trujillo, Colon, Honduras Maria lived a life full of love, resilience, and dedication to her family. She was a beacon of strength and compassion, touching the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Maria is survived by her loving sons Jorge, Jairo, and Antonio, her devoted daughter Sonia, and her cherished sister Ana Paula. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Elda, whom she has now joined in eternal rest.

Maria's family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to assist with the funeral arrangement costs. Your generosity and support during this difficult time are greatly appreciated.

A celebration of Maria's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share in the joy she brought to the world.

Maria Isabel Duarte will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
