Maria Garay

Maria Garay was born on April 2, 1932, in Gomera, Escuintla, Guatemala, and passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, in Garland, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

Maria was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness and strength touched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Adrian and Julio; her daughters, Clara, Odilia, Eva, and Damaris; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to live on through them.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Adela.

Maria will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering faith, and the deep love she had for her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

She will be laid to rest at Nevada Cemetery in Nevada, Texas.
