Maria Martinez, cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, in Richardson, Texas, at the age of 91. Born on Monday, November 13th, 1933, in the vibrant city of Laredo, Texas, Maria lived a life full of love, devotion, and unwavering faith.

Maria dedicated her life to being a devoted homemaker, providing a nurturing and loving environment for her family. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, and her home was always a welcoming haven filled with the comforting aroma of her cooking and the sounds of laughter and togetherness.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Rodolfo, who stood by her side in a marriage that was a testament to enduring love. Maria's legacy lives on through her devoted daughter, Araceli, who carries forward her mother’s strength and grace. She is also survived by her brother Carlos, and her sister Bertha Rosalba, who will forever cherish the joyful memories they shared together.

Maria was preceded in death by her dear parents, Guadalupe José and Francisca, and her sisters Amanda Diamantina and Manuela as well as brother José Guadalupe whose spirits surely welcomed her into eternal rest.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held to honor Maria's life at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Garland, TX, on Thursday, December 5th, 2024, at 10:00 am. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to join in this celebration of her life and faith.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and resilience that will continue to inspire those she loved and those who loved her. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.

Maria Martinez will be laid to rest at Garland Memorial Park in Garland, Texas, where her memory will be honored and cherished.
