Maria Del Carmen Zuñiga Barbosa was born on January 12, 1933 in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico. She entered into rest on May 28, 2023 in Dallas, Texas

Maria Del Carmen is survived by her children Reyna, Estela, Javier, Delfina, Lorena, Elena, Rita, Emma, Iliana and Angelica; brothers Manuel, Juan and Rufino; sisters María and Maria; 43 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Her final resting place will be Garland Memorial Park in Garland, Texas.
