It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mariano Carlos Gutierrez, who departed this life on Monday, February 23rd, 2026, in Garland, Texas. Born on Wednesday, December 12th, 1951, in Monterrey, México, Mariano lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to his family and community.

Mariano is survived by his beloved wife, Rufina, who stood by his side through all of life's journeys. He was a father to Josue and Matthew, and his daughters, Lydia and Mariana. Mariano's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Nathaniel, Carisma, Santiago, Tennyson, Stori, and Swayze. He is also survived by his dear sister, Ernestina, who shared in his life's many memories.

Mariano touched the lives of many with his generous spirit and unwavering support. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing and visitation at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, Texas, on Sunday, March 1st, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service to honor Mariano's life will be held at the same location on Monday, March 2nd, 2026, at 10:00 am.

Following the service, Mariano will be laid to rest at Royse City Cemetery in Royse City, Texas, where he will find his final resting place.

Mariano Carlos Gutierrez will be remembered for his enduring love, strength, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him.
