Mario Castillo Zamora

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mario Castillo Zamora, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. Mario was born on Friday, June 4th, 1982, and he passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 19th, 2024, at the age of 42. He resided in Dallas, TX, where he was a cherished member of the community.

Mario is survived by his loving mother Susana, devoted wife Edilma, and beloved sons Mario and Anderson. He is also survived by his caring brother, Erwin, and six treasured sisters: Monica, Ana, Marina, Erika, Lesli, and Angelica. Mario's infectious smile, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends will always be remembered and dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Viewing/Visitation at Pilar Funeral Home, located in Garland, TX, on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Prayer Service will be held during the visitation at 6:00 pm to honor Mario's faith and memory.

A Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, at 10:00 am, at Royse City Cemetery in Royse City, TX. We will gather to lay Mario to rest and celebrate the life he lived with love and gratitude.

Mario Castillo Zamora will forever be in our hearts and memories. May he rest in eternal peace.
