Mark Soto Obituary

Mark (Markey) Andrew Soto, 39, of Dallas, Tx, went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2021. Mark was born November 22nd, 1981 to Pete and Ruth Soto. He had one sister, Sarah Soto.

As a kid, Mark loved electronics. He loved to take radios apart and then put them back together as though it was the easiest thing to do. He and his best friend, John would also play outside daily for hours at a time and were still friends to this day.

Mark and his sister, Sarah, were the best of friends and everyone knew it. They were inseparable from the moment he was born. They would do everything together and if you only saw one of them, you knew the other wasn’t far behind.

On October 18th, 2010, Mark married his beautiful wife, Yvette. Together, they were the best couple. They had the type of marriage that everyone dreams of. They hardly ever fought and when they did, it was quickly resolved with a hug and a kiss. In 2019, Mark and Yvette were expecting a son but God had other plans for their beautiful baby boy. Mark would have been an amazing father, he was extremely protective of the people he loved and he would do anything for them.

Mark loved to spend time with his wife Yvette taking road trips or just driving around the town in his dream truck, a 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500, or better known as the “Silver Bullet”. You always knew when Mark was driving down the street, not only because you could hear his music playing but you could feel the bass coming from his sound system. Much like the rest of his family, Mark was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He and his family would watch every game together.

Mark recently started a career at Monroe Casters as a salesperson. Although he wasn’t there very long, he made an impact on each person that he came into contact with. Mark would have thrived at any job because he was the type of person that set his mind to something and didn’t complain about the hard work it took to get there.

Mark is preceded in passing by his parents, Ruth and Pete Soto and his son, Theodore Soto.

Mark is survived by his wife, Yvette Soto, his one and only sister, Sarah Soto (John Moragas), his honorary brother John Casillas, his fave, Lauren (Lo) Rivas and his three dogs; Goliath, Delilah, and Cupcake.

The viewing is scheduled for October 4th, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Central Park Church of God. 1901 E. Centerville Rd. Garland, TX. 75041.
