It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Meldi Yovani Barrera López, who was born on February 16, 1976, in Omoa, Cortés, Honduras and entered eternal rest on February 15, 2026, in Garland, Texas.
Meldi was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished family member whose kindness, dedication, and strength touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a hardworking man who deeply loved his family and always put their well-being first.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nolvia Santos; his sons, Kevin, Samir, and Kenneth; his daughter, Angie; his brothers, Marcos, Ismael, and Juan; his sisters, Iris and Nelly; his grandson, Aaron; and his nephew, Denis, along with many other relatives and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Meldi will be laid to rest at Cementerio Muchilena, Aldea Muchilena, Omoa, Cortés, Honduras.
He will be remembered for his loving heart, humble spirit, and unwavering commitment to his family. May he rest in eternal peace.
