Miguel Guerra Bernal

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Miguel Guerra Bernal, who departed this life on June 13, 2025, in Lockhart, Texas, at the age of 97.

Miguel was born on July 5, 1927, in Oriente Aguanaval, Durango, Mexico.

He is survived by his son Jacobo and daughters Hortencia, María Magdalena, and Leonor. He was the proud grandfather of 27 grandchildren, who were a source of immense joy and pride throughout his life.

Miguel was preceded in death by his beloved son Rubén, daughters Martha and Estela, and grandchildren Mario, Victoria, Carlos, and José Luis. Though their absence was deeply felt, Miguel carried their memory with him always.

His final resting place will be Cementerio del Ejido Oriente Aguanaval in Durango, Mexico, where he will return to his homeland and be laid to rest among loved ones.

Miguel’s legacy of strength, family devotion, and quiet resilience will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
