Pedro Tamez

Pedro Tamez, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in Rockwall, Texas, at the age of 90. Born on August 19, 1935, in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Pedro lived a life full of love, dedication, and resilience.

Pedro was a devoted family man, cherished by his children, Renato, Reynaldo, who preceded his father in death, Juan, Julio, Raul, Roberto, Rene, Basilia, and Nellie. He was a proud grandfather to 25 grandchildren, a great-grandfather to 27 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandfather to 2 great-great-grandchildren. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through them.

He is also survived by his brother, Ricardo, and his sisters, Maria Luisa, Adelina, and Zenaida, who will remember him fondly, his presence will be deeply missed.

Pedro was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josefina, and his son, Reynaldo. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pilar Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Pedro's life and honor his memory.

Pedro Tamez's life was a beautiful journey, and his spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. May he rest in peace, reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.
